The Role
As a Managing Consultant, your primary purpose will be to lead delivery of some of Logiq’s most high profile and impactful projects, leading small blended teams of highly technical architecture and security consultants and acting as a trusted advisor to senior clients to ensure successful delivery. You will also support business growth by identifying and leading on the development of follow-on and adjacent growth and new business opportunities; and you will lead or support the development of new service offerings and helping take these to market.
You will lead the development of Solution/Technical Architecture in the highly complex secure systems space. From the outset, the successful candidate will be joining a large scale and dynamic programme leading a technical architecture team which will deliver Identity solutions with strategic impact in our client and at multiple levels of classification. You will:
- Technically and procedurally oversee the production of Identity-related High Level solution Designs, Transition states, roadmap and service catalogue
- Lead the architecture development process to drive community convergence around critical design choices
- Run the Identity Architecture Working Group
- Engage with design authorities to support the design approvals process
- Oversee the team’s engagement with development teams to provide architectural oversight of, and support to, dev team activities
- Maintain and develop Identity related policies and processes
- Act as a trusted advisor to the customer, working closely with Head of Solution Design and other key stakeholders to set and agree priorities
- Manage the Logiq team on a day-to-day basis, setting priorities, maintaining backlog, agreeing scope with the customer and defining technical tasks
Key to success in our client environment will be the ability to distil and communicate highly complex concepts with simplicity and in a compelling way and to be able to effectively “see the wood for the trees” in a highly technical environment.
Over time, and aligned with the wider responsibilities of a managing consultant you will work in or lead other Logiq projects. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, adapting to various roles within client projects over time. Employment is subject to satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance which requires 5 years continuous UK address history at the point of application. Travel to client sites and Logiq offices will be required.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Significant experience designing or delivering complex IT requirements or technology programmes.
- Proven experience and knowledgeable on the technical aspects of solution and identity architecture e.g. IDAM, MFA, SSO at various levels of classification to the level required to understand, debate and drive solution design choices
- Experience delivering into MOD, relevant governance and security policy, processes, and practices (inc Joint Service Publications 604, 440).
- Strong understanding of IT security and design considerations of high-assurance systems.
- Knowledge of hosting technologies (virtualisation, containerisation, orchestration), with experience of industry leading products and vendors. Technology experience across Infrastructure & networks, Cloud, Identity, Cyber Security, Security Controls and Service Management
- Strong analytical and communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrable success in acting as a client trusted advisor position and leading small teams
- HMG Security Clearance SC or higher, must be willing to apply for higher clearance
