Location: Hybrid; with a minimum of 3 days a week based at our Bristol/Chippenham offices.
Salary: Negotiable, plus up to 10% bonus based on Company and then individual performance, plus excellent benefits package.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of People to lead the human resources and talent development function within Logiq. Working closely with the COO, CFO and CEO, our Head of People will be accountable for aligning our HR strategies to our North Star and annual Business Plan. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and results-oriented leader who can drive organisational change, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure effective HR systems and policies are in place.
Key responsibilities:
Employee Development
- Performance Management: Develop and execute performance management systems that foster employee growth, goal alignment, and continuous feedback.
- Succession Planning: Identify high-potential employees and create career development and succession plans to retain talent and prepare for future leadership needs.
- Employee Engagement: Develop initiatives that promote employee engagement, job satisfaction, and a positive company culture.
- Onboarding & Integration: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring an effective and engaging introduction to the company culture and policies.
- Learning & Development: Design, implement, and manage employee training and development programs that support skill-building, leadership growth, and career progression.
Designing and Implementing HR Processes
- HR Policy Creation & Compliance: Design, update, and enforce HR policies that align with legal requirements, best practice, and organisational culture.
- Talent Acquisition: Manage the Talent Acquisition team and lead the recruitment process, collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, source candidates, and ensure a smooth interview and selection process.
- HR Process Optimisation: Continuously assess and improve HR processes, systems, and workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, from recruitment to performance management to offboarding.
- HR Technology & Tools: Oversee the implementation and management of HR technology to streamline operations and improve employee experiences.
- Compensation & Benefits: Lead the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with business objectives and attract top talent.
Leadership and Strategy
- HR Leadership: Lead and mentor the HR, Talent Acquisition and Office management team, fostering a high-performance culture that emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and professionalism.
- Strategic HR Planning: Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business goals, workforce planning, and organisational development.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Proactively address any potential legal risks related to HR practices.
Office Management and Operations
- Office Administration: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our offices, ensuring smooth functioning and a productive work environment.
- Facilities Management: Manage office facilities, including coordinating maintenance, supplies, and equipment to ensure a well-functioning office space.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all relevant health, safety, and workplace regulations, managing risk assessments and employee safety initiatives.
- Vendor Management: Supervise relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure cost-effective and quality services are being delivered.
Employment is subject to satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance which requires 5 years continuous UK address history at the point of application.
Qualifications
Education:
- HR certifications (e.g. CIPD level 7) essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field desirable.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in HR leadership, with a strong background in employee development, office management, and HR processes.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing HR systems and processes.
- Experience in managing facilities and office operations, in addition to traditional HR responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide HR teams and employees at all levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
