Cheltenham, UK – 04 June 2026 – members of the Savient team — now part of Logiq — attended the Cheltenham Science Festival as part of the CyNam technology ecosystem, spending two days in the festival arcade engaging with visitors through a series of interactive puzzles and problem-solving activities.
Representing the team across the event were Sophie, Camille, Lucy and Ben, who hosted the Savient stand and encouraged attendees of all ages to explore challenges designed to promote creativity, teamwork and analytical thinking.
Visitors to the stand will likely have seen the headline “Curious minds welcome: solving real-world problems through technology and data”, which reflected the practical and hands-on approach taken throughout the event. The activities were designed to encourage people to think differently, collaborate and engage with the kind of problem-solving skills that sit at the centre of many technology and data-driven roles.
Recognised as one of the UK’s leading science festivals, the Cheltenham Science Festival has built a strong reputation for bringing together researchers, educators, industry professionals and the wider public through a diverse programme of talks, demonstrations, workshops and interactive activities.
For the team, the event provided an opportunity not only to support the local technology and education community, but also to help encourage greater interest in the skills and career paths that underpin the wider technology sector. Supporting initiatives that encourage STEM engagement and broaden access into technology-related careers has long been an important part of Savient’s involvement within the Cheltenham and South West technology community. As part of Logiq, that commitment continues through participation in events, outreach activities and community initiatives that help connect industry, education and future talent.
Events such as the Cheltenham Science Festival play an important role in making science and technology more accessible, and create opportunities for people to interact with technology in practical, hands-on ways can often be the first step towards building curiosity and longer-term interest in STEM careers.
The event also provided an opportunity to connect with other organisations involved in the CyNam community and wider South West technology ecosystem, highlighting the strength of collaboration and technical expertise across the region.
We’d like to thank everyone who stopped by the stand and supported the event, it was great to see so much enthusiasm and engagement throughout.
