We’re proud to announce that Logiq has been acquired by IBM, marking the biggest milestone in our eight-year journey.
Since Logiq was founded in Bristol in 2018, we’ve grown from a small cyber security consultancy into a team of more than 235 people, working across some of the UK’s most complex and sensitive environments.
Along the way, we’ve helped reshape cyber delivery across Defence, government and other regulated sectors. We’ve built and grown the DISX family of secure solutions, played a leading role in the delivery of Secure by Design, expanded our capabilities across cyber and technology, and built a business trusted to support organisations where security really matters.
Investment from Phoenix Equity Partners in 2023 helped accelerate that growth. Earlier this year, we also welcomed our Savient colleagues into Logiq, bringing together two highly complementary teams and significantly broadening our expertise and capabilities.
A significant milestone for Logiq
Becoming an IBM company will allow us to build on those foundations with the scale, technology and global capabilities of one of the world’s leading technology companies. For our customers, it brings together Logiq’s specialist expertise in cyber security, assurance, secure digital services and Defence with IBM’s much broader capabilities. For our people, it creates opportunities to apply that expertise on an even greater scale.
It’s difficult to capture eight years in a few paragraphs. We’re enormously proud of what we’ve built and grateful to every colleague, customer and partner who has played a part in getting Logiq here. This is a significant moment for our business – and an exciting one for its future.
