We’ve signed the UK Government’s Cyber Resilience Pledge, joining organisations across the UK in committing to practical measures that strengthen cyber security and resilience.
Launched in July 2026, the voluntary initiative encourages businesses to take greater responsibility for managing cyber risk, with a particular focus on leadership accountability, threat awareness and supply-chain security.
The pledge sets out three commitments:
- Make cyber security a board-level responsibility. Implement the Cyber Governance Code of Practice and ensure board members complete the National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) Cyber Governance Training.
- Improve awareness of emerging threats. Register for the NCSC’s Early Warning service, which provides notifications of potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities affecting an organisation.
- Strengthen supply-chain security. Review Cyber Essentials coverage across suppliers and take a risk-based approach to requiring certification.
For organisations operating in Defence, government and critical national infrastructure, managing cyber risk extends well beyond their own systems. Dependencies on suppliers, service providers and interconnected technologies can introduce vulnerabilities that are difficult to identify and manage without appropriate oversight.
These are challenges we regularly encounter through our work in cyber security assurance, risk management and Secure by Design. The pledge reflects many of the principles that underpin our approach, particularly the importance of clear accountability, proportionate security controls and understanding risk across organisational boundaries.
By signing, we’re making a public commitment to these measures and to supporting wider efforts to improve cyber resilience across the UK.
